One of these is an American teacher, Mrs. Neil Young Searle, who evacuated to Dalaguete together with her two aides, Rufo Matugas and Catalino Nacaytuna. RUFO MATUGAS is the son of Pedro Matugas and Facunda Acosto from Ormoc, Leyte. He married MA. DIDIMIA OSORIO on April 16, 1943 in a ceremony officiated by the Coadjutor priest, Fr. Geminiano Semprun. Marciano Legaspi and Veneranda Sandalo.
